Top 10 Agent in the South East Region.. Again!

Phil Spencer talking at The ESTAs…..

Update:  We've moved our blog to www.folkestone-estateagent.co.uk

Today we met Phil Spencer for the third time.  Lovely chap with a dry sense of humour and a real commitment to excellence in the property industry.

Sometimes I've noticed at award ceremonies that the hired celebrity is there only for the money, but each time we go to The Estate & Letting Agency Awards and listen to what he has to say, I get a stronger sense of how much he appreciates the value that a good agent can add… if you'll excuse the pun.

If you're not familiar with The ESTAs, it's the property industry's version of the Oscars, honouring great customer service in Estate Agency and Lettings.  But unlike the Oscars, to get shortlisted in The ESTAs you need to be voted for by your customers
who are sent a survey which covers every aspect of your business from the quality of your Rightmove ads, the competency of your staff, through to your Property Maintenance Department and your administration.

The Top 10 Agents in the South East (in no particular order!)
So here we are, our name up in lights with the Top 10 Letting Agents in the South East Region which covers the whole of Kent and Essex.

We're in good company as every single one of us would have scored at least a 95% customer feedback score in order to be shortlisted and earn our place at the awards ceremony.

I'm immensely proud of all of my staff for their continued efforts and grateful to our customers for taking the time to completed their ESTA feedback form.  I'm guessing that at least 25% of them gave their opinions of us because the percentage returns is another ranking factor in the ESTAs.

Why are the ESTAs important?  Because excellence in an industry which is largely unregulated is something that should be celebrated and this room is full of the select few who believe that a great letting agent is about matching tenants to the right properties and ensuring that the whole process is as smooth as possible for everyone involved.

Long live the ESTAs - and thanks for the coffee and chocolates!
